This is for my regular readers. From a few posts back I told everyone I don't know how to sew. Well truthfully speaking I kind of don't, but in a better way to say it, I've have realized that yes I can sew. With there being so much leftover from our hemming job, I decided I'd take the leftovers of those cuts and turn them into a denim quilt. I started this project oh, I'd say about a mon
th ago, thanks to mom's encouragement and help along the way this is what I've come up with so far. I don't think I'll be sewing any prom gowns or anything fancy in the near future, but at least I've got the basics down. It has been kind of fun. I'm just worrie
d that when I start sewing and that bobbin comes unthreaded I won't be able to thread it again. ha!ha!ha! Anyways, I just got some more jeans so tonight I'm going to start cutting more squares up so I can start sewing them together again. How fun. It is nice to have a variety of hobbies and things you enjoy doing. Helps pass the time. So here are some pictures of what I've put together so far. Wishing everyone happy days.

It is so fun to beable to keep in touch through blogging. We are so glad you were able to join us for dinner. It was so fun. And here is the pretzel salad recipe I forgor to give you before you left:
Bottom layer:
2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 T. sugar
Pat in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Cool crust.
Middle Layer:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. cool whip
Beat with mixer. Pour on crust.
Top Layer:
1 Lg. pkg. Raspberry Jello
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen raspberries
2 c. boiling water.
Let set up. Put on top.
