Over The River & Through The Woods:

Well today mom came over and picked me up and we went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a visit. On the way there we got some scenery pictures. But when we got there, Because I have my camera I got all excited and decided I ought to get some pictures of Grandpa while he was sitting in his favorite chair. But he was patient with me and when I told him to look my direction he even looked at me and gave a big old smile. So then thinking I got pretty lucky I decided to interview him and ask him all sorts of crazy questions because my camera allows a video option and with a smart card it enhances the amount of video you can use. I lucked out and in the end his voice was too soft and it didn’t pick up on my Mic. But I warned him that next time he needs to be prepared for more interviewing. I asked him why he thought he should let mom start driving when she did and his answer was that she took the wheel from him right when she was a year old she would steer. I thought, how crazy!! Then he told me he used to play marbles in high school and won the marble tournament and his judges name for the competition was Nick Trimble, but they called him Turkey neck tremble because he could turn his neck clear around. He also told me that as of today’s date, him and grandma have been married for 62 years and 2 days, WOW! How cool is that!!! Anyways, him and I talked and told way fun stories. Next time I go there I warned him that I will get a better video of where he will be able to be heard. Hope you all enjoyed Valentine’s Day. By the way, the picture of Grandma isn’t because she is sad it is because she was irritated, because although she didn’t want her picture taken she kept insisting and encouraging Grandpa to get his picture taken and tell his stories. They are both very sweet Grandparents and I love them both. Happy Days.

I love that picture of grandpa! I know that he is not really my grandpa, but I sure think of him like one. Those stories and answers that grnadpa gave you will be so precious to have down on paper. Thank you for taking the time to write them down. I love your blog! I just started to dabble in photography too!
