Great Day With Riley

After Wyatt and I got back to the ranch Riley looked like he was on his way to feed cattle. so I asked if I could join him and his Grandma Mickey who is oh so sweet. I joined with, and with a little know how on how to work the stick shift from Grandma Mickey and RILEY, I decided I'd be super brave enough to drive the old stick shift so Riley could feed cattle. (By the way, I'm just a little bit afraid of driving the stickshift, but just to prove it that is me in the window behind the wheel. YEAH!!!!) While we were driving we saw some really cool bald eagles up in the tall tall trees so

I really wanted some pictures and we decided that since grandma needed to go back to the house to do some other things that Riley and I would take the Rhino back through the fields to see if we couldn't spot a couple of cows that were missing. (For those of you who aren't familiar with what a Rhino is, it is basically like a golf cart but built tough for the farming world. HE! HE! HE! Good comparison eh?) We came back and had a blast looking for the lost cows, and for the eagles and trying to get some good pictures. I got some GREAT PICTURES of them too. Then as we got to kind of the end of the property line we saw a buck. Riley got out to examine it and it was a dead long gone buck. It's head was still kind of there but other than that it was just bones. Anyways, I got a picture of Riley with the buck then we decided to take him home with us. All was good, we stopped for quite some time and looked at the eagles in the trees and took pictures and finally we were ready to leave when we realized that it was quiet. Oh nooooooo. We'd left the Rhino running while we were taking pictures for too long I guess and it ran out of gas. So we ended up walking home clear from almost the end of the property line. But it was still so much fun. The whole day was a blast. Yes, if your wondering even though we ended up walking, Riley still insisted on carrying the buck home with us. He is a funny, but great kid. All of those kids are just wonderful. I was glad I got to spoil and have fun with them. Thanks for the fun time Riley. I really enjoyed my time with you. Happy days to everyone.
