King Of The Road

(While reading this... It might be fun to listen to the song, "King of the road".)
A couple weeks ago I called my dad and asked if we could go on a fun trip before the summer ended. He asked me where I wanted to go. I told him I wanted to go somewhere within reason, but somewhere that I don't always get the chance to go to. Then the idea came up with going to Yellowstone. He said he'd think about it.
It was awesome! He called me back, like 5 minutes later and said that we were going. I was EXCITED! Then he called back and said, "How about Lewis and Clark Caverns"? Then I was NERVOUS, and EXCITED! It was really cool that he, and Jan were willing to take the time to spend such a great weekend together with me. I was really nervous about going up through the cave. I was debating on weather or not I could even make the hike up there. I chose to go on with it. It was awesome! I can't believe I made it.
After we got done with the caverns everyone was beat. We got in the car and headed up to Big Sky, it was unreal over there. Fancy million dollar homes, big ski resort, and a VERY nice hotel. When we got to the counter to check in, dad confirmed that the rooms we would be staying in were to be joined. I was thinking WOW. I must get my own hotel room. Trying to hold excitement, I waited until we got to the rooms. WOW, it was awesome. I got my very first, very own, way cool hotel room. I owe a BIG thank you to my Dad, and my brother Dan for that. The next morning we got an early start and started off to West Yellowstone National Park. I got a lot of cool pictures. After Old Faith full, we left Yellowstone, and went into the Grand Teton National Park. After going through the Tetons, we went home the next day.
It was so much fun thank you for the fun weekend, I love you both.. My dad truely is, "The King of The Road".
